I now have this desire to speak with a bit of an Eastern-European-Former-Soviet accent. Spore Creature Creator (PC Games) is a fun computer game for the 8-11 year olds who will enjoy creating their own creatures: eyes, ears, heads, horns, scales, etc., painting the creature with unique patterns, playing with it. I have not yet attempted the multiplayer (wow, Firefox isn't recognizing multiplayer as a word.) and will therefore withhold judgment on that aspect of the game. I would perhaps like to see a bit more in the training phase before moving you into the real stuff, but I think that one is just me. The controls are not intuitive, as my rag-doll of a body repeatedly rolling out of a car moving at upwards of 80-100 mph shows, although they are not difficult to learn. Spore Creature Creator is a tool with which you can assemble your creature from a wide range of parts. (I feel that the two are wholly separate entities and must be considered as such). This blob has a spine in it through which it can be modified in both in form and size.

I have been spending the last few days playing with GTA IV, and I think I'm about ready to give my rating on the gameplay, although perhaps not on the story. If you don't want to hear about GTA IV, then I suggest skipping about the first. This episode contains both highly explicit language (Andy felt that we should spend an episode earning our explicit tag on iTunes) and spoilers. Get it But one warning: If you play Spore Creature Creator, you may suffer from anxiety from the LOOONG wait until Spore is.
